Apparently it's possible to start off a day with so great a mood it can only be likened to...multiple orgasms. And then find that you would like nothing more than to violently beat someone before the end.

Well it sounds like hyperbole, but it's not. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised when my iAudio 7 decides to short the volume down button spontaneously in the cold. After all it does fast forward if you turn it on in the shade and then take it in the hot sunlight (made in Korea). I guess my big frustration is that I ordered a screwdriver set to be able to replace a loose 3.5mm jack, but it doesn't matter anymore. I can't go for a walk now without the volume down acting permanently depressed.

I really want to office space this piece of shit Cowon product, but I can't justify buying another portable right now. I'll just have to break off the volume down button so that it requires a key (or some metal tool) like my volume up does. Otherwise I can only wait until it's back to being Texas hot...and then stay inside where my Xonar D1 sounds much better anyway.
